{"id":56,"date":"2018-06-03T00:51:05","date_gmt":"2018-06-02T23:51:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/teatronika.org\/?page_id=56"},"modified":"2023-12-01T21:30:55","modified_gmt":"2023-12-01T20:30:55","slug":"proyecto","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/teatronika.org\/en\/proyecto\/","title":{"rendered":"Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">The Teatronika project was born in 2015, promoted by\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/martisanchez.com\">Mart\u00ed S\u00e1nchez-Fibla<\/a>\u00a0(researcher in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics of the Pompeu Fabra University) with the aim of making 5 NAO robots available to the general public imagination (which until then had only played<\/span> <span title=\"\">soccer) to interpret theatrical scripts written by the participants of the Teatronika Contest.<\/span> In the first edition of the contest we received 112 scripts and we had an interdisciplinary jury: Miquel Barcel\u00f3, specialist in science fiction, Ramon L\u00f3pez de M\u00e1ntaras, director of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence of the CSIC among others\u00a0<span title=\"\"> (<a href=\"https:\/\/eventum.upf.edu\/event_detail\/2079\/sections\/2530\/resolucion.html\">see link<\/a>);<\/span> 9 were the winning scripts and other 6 obtained a special mention.<span title=\"\"> (<a href=\"https:\/\/eventum.upf.edu\/event_detail\/2079\/sections\/2530\/resolucion.html\">see link<\/a>).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In 2018 Teatronika became an association for scientific and cultural dissemination with Beatriz Liebe and Gerald Kogler, in order to bring the robots out of the lab and promote dissemination actions in a broader framework, for example, a theatrical show, the organization of 3 other editions of the contest, the publication of 4 books and, in 2021, the creation and implementation of Teatronika STEAM, for which we invited Patricia Garrido Qui\u00f1ones to be part of our team.<\/p>\n<h2>Contact: Mart\u00ed S\u00e1nchez Fibla<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/martisabchez.com\">Mart\u00ed S\u00e1nchez-Fibla<\/a> is a researcher in cognitive sciences, artificial intelligence and neurorobotics now collaborating\u00a0with\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.upf.edu\/web\/ai-ml\">Artificial Intelligence group<\/a> of the University Pompeu Fabra (UPF), <a href=\"https:\/\/specs.ibecbarcelona.eu\/\">SPECS<\/a> (Synthetic Perceptive, Emotive and Cognitive Systems) laboratory (now at IBEC) and the <a href=\"http:\/\/complex.upf.edu\/\">Complex System Lab<\/a>. His interests in scientific outreach bring him to realize the project Teatronika, with the aim of experimenting with robots as the only actors of theatrical and performance art pieces.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Contact: Beatriz Liebe Masferrer<\/h2>\n<p>Beatriz Liebe is theatre maker and cultural manager. Among other adventures, she has been director of Bar\u00f3 de Viver Community Centre, coordinator for different projects at Fundaci\u00f3 Xarxa d\u2019Espectacle Infantil i Juvenil de Catalunya (Butaka Jove, l\u2019Escola Va de Bolo), and co director of Festival PIIGS_dramaturgy about crisis (Festival Grec, Nau Ivanow). Her theatre works only has two common factors: the curiosity to experiment and the joy of sharing rehearsals with colleagues and performances with the audience, whether at CCCB in Barcelona, in an AI congress in Chile or at Festival Off Avignon in France.
