Theatre but “nobody” on stage

Maybe there have always existed, but in 2018 (some have been created some years ago) we have been able to see some amazing theatre productions that have no “real people” on stage, and I mean no “real people” at all (in some cases, even not pulling the strings, or behind the controls). We have noticed at least four of them (please write to us if you know of any others):

Featuring in order of appearance: a documentary film for five screens and a city model; two computer embodied chat bots improvising based on  dialogs between Chomsky and Focault;  animatronic double of Thomas Melle and controllable light beam; more than 45 mechanic puppets.

A post will follow this one reviewing theatre performances including robot performers. And maybe another one about a curious kind of theatre in which the audience becomes the main players.
